FACILITY MANAGERS (FM) was established from an observation by Rick Slade that consumers of facility support services were sourcing these services on a piecemeal basis. This piecemeal approach did not lend itself to coordination of services, nor did it provide the best possible combination of services. FACILITY MANAGERS (FM)’s concept involves the marriage of all disciplines in the delivery of facility and shared support services and products to commercial, industrial, residential, retail companies and government agencies. With over 50 over years’ experience, FM offers, but not be limited to the following areas for facility support services: Facility and Concierge Services; HVAC, Janitorial/Maid Services; Decontamination and Infection Control Services; Landscape and Grounds keeping; Special Trades Contracted Services; and Inventory Management.

Managing Partners

Ann Slade – Board Chairwoman / Partner Ann Slade has over 30 years facilities/project management, information systems technology and development, personnel management, and human resources applications experience. She was the lead project and resource manager on major efforts across large corporate and organization HR information systems projects for AT&T and IBM. Ann has a B.S. from Hampton University. She received a Masters Certification in Project Management from George Washington University and attained Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.

Patrick Slade – Director of Finance & Operations / Partner Patrick Slade has over 15 years of experience in finance, facilities maintenance, contract management, and business administration. He has the core ability to liaise effectively with clients and contractors. He achieved an Associates Degree in Accounting from Guilford Technical Community College and two years training in Business Administration at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Fiona Slade – Director of Client, Vendor & Contractor Services / Partner Fiona Slade is a business professional with experience in providing a broad range of administrative support functions including customer service. She has efficient administrative and record-keeping abilities, and is competent in MS Office applications, as well as industry-specific information systems. She has over 10 years of experience servicing the consumer bases for Citigroup and LabCorp. She is trained and certified as a Family Home Care Administrator with the NC DHHS.

Rickey G. Slade – Director of Facilities & Security / Partner Rickey Slade is a creative and savvy business manager with over 30 years of experience in facilities maintenance, industrial security, and business management. He has managed contracts with government and national companies including the State of North Carolina, the cities of Greensboro and Winston-Salem, Bank of America, UPS, AT&T and Duke Energy. He has certification and training from the Department of Defense Facility Officer National Industrial Security Program and the Criminal Justice Program at Pfeiffer University.

Ricky D. Slade – Director of Marketing & Sales / Partner Ricky Slade is a highly motivated business professional with a successful track record in customer service, sales and marketing, and training support. He has over 15 years experience servicing companies like Citigroup, UnitedHealth, and CharterCom. He achieved a B.S. in Business Administration with emphasis in Marketing/Commercial Advertising from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and completed Toastmasters International Public Speaking.

Ramar Williams – Sunrise Facility Services / Partner Ramar Williams is a business manager with over 20 years experience in providing maintenance, personnel, facilities support, and janitorial services. He has in-depth skills and knowledge in facilities maintenance, contract management, and business administration. The company's certifications include: MRSA Decontamination in compliance with OSHA Reg. 29-CFT 1910.1030 in the area of Blood and Body Fluid Clean-Up Procedures. Carpet cleaning certification in compliance with the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration (IICRC) and all staff is trained and certified in compliance with OSHA 10 certification.

James Maynard, Jr. – United Multimedia / Partner James Maynard Jr. combined with his father James Maynard Sr. have roughly 15 years of experience in general custodial maintenance and management for Guilford County Schools, James Maynard is highly competent in these areas, as well as, cleaning supplies requisition and light grounds keeping. He gained a broad background in systems administration and data processing as manager of logistics business systems, and in human resources as assistant manager of HR. He attended Shaw University.

Eva Torres – Cleanforce Janitorial, Inc. / Operations Manager / Owner / Partner Ensures operational activities remain on time and within a defined budget. Maintains constant communication with management, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the organization. Conducts budget reviews and report cost plans to upper management. Strong budget development and oversight skills. Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of minor operations and customer service.

Abraham Torres – Cleanforce Janitorial, Inc. / Construction Cleanup Manager / Partner Educates site workers on safety regulations while enforces site safety rules to minimize work-related injuries. Evaluates employee performance and institutes disciplinary actions when necessary. Communicates and provides support to all vendors ensuring that all assigned projects/ cleaning is done in accordance with approved plans. Currently working on his BS in business to expand his knowledge and the business.

Jhovy Torres – Cleanforce Janitorial, Inc. / Carpentry Supervisor / Partner Ensures safety and quality in the performance of assigned task. Updates build schedules for assigned construction projects and communicate construction needs with clients and or vendors. Professionally estimates cost of labor and materials competitively. Wide knowledge and experience in roofing, demolition and painting. Successfully completes renovations/ projects by deadlines.

Nolan Torres – Cleanforce Janitorial, Inc. / Maintenance Supervisor / Partner Very strong background and experience in the maintenance field. Successfully held years employed as a maintenance supervisor not only for CFJ but for other very reputable local and nationwide companies. With experience maintaining hotels, luxury apartments and even banks. Proven experience as maintenance supervisor with strong technical knowledge of all building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing etc. Ensures adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations. Develops SOP, manages and motivates with leadership to the maintenance team.

Xaviette Pointer–Kincy – Kincy Home Repair / Board / Partner Xaviette Pointer-Kincy is a dual-profession pharmaceutical professional and business consultant. She has established, trained, and supported several local and national organizations for nearly 15 years. Xaviette is a current doctoral candidate who holds a Masters's degree in Education Administrator. Her certifications include a Certificate in NonProfit Development (Duke University) & a Certificate in Diversity & Inclusion (Cornell University). Xaviette is skilled in grant writing, board development, strategic planning, leadership development, and business start-ups.

Micheal Kincy – Kincy Home Repair / Partner Michael Kincy is an innovative and solution-focused business owner with nearly 30 years of experience across various skilled trades. Michael has extensive experience providing facility management and maintenance services to premier Research Triangle Park area companies, data management firms, technology giants, and pharmaceutical industries. As the owner of Kincy’s Home Repair & Maintenance Services, Michael excels as a skilled tradesman and business leader of a fast-growing company. His certifications include HUB Certified and NC Small Business Enterprise Certified.
